Job summary

JONHAS GLOBAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Laboratory Support Assistant to help teachers by preparing materials, maintaining science laboratories and outdoor facilities, and organizing artefacts for learning reflections.

This role requires good communication, MS Office proficiency, and a minimum of GCE N Levels with a science subject; 2+ years in science education is preferred. On-site role with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE N Levels or equivalent with a Science-related subject.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience supporting Science education.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of capturing video and pictures for documentation.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and apparatus to support effective Science lessons.
• Manage, operate, and maintain science laboratories and outdoor facilities to ensure safety and functionality.
• Conduct stocktaking of Science resources to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Organize and curate students' artefacts to assist teachers in reflecting on student learning outcomes.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the school to support overall Science department operations.
