Job summary

IET Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a proactive Science Lab Technical Officer cum Operational Support Staff to support the school's Science Department and handle administrative and reception duties during downtime.

You will assist teachers with lab setup and maintenance, manage visitors, mail, and general office tasks, while upholding safety standards and orderly operations across the campus.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in setting up and clearing experiment equipment before and after classes.
• Prepare, arrange, and organize lab equipment, specimens, and teaching resources.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure lab equipment is functional and report faults.
• Uphold strict safety standards and proper lab housekeeping.
• Reception & visitor management during downtime: welcome visitors, answer inquiries, and guide visitors.
• Handle mail, courier and record incoming/outgoing packages.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies and keep reception areas organized.
• Pack, label, and document office supplies and event materials.
• Assist with basic cleaning of General Office and pantry areas.
