Job summary

International French School (Singapore) is seeking a Librarian Assistant to support the librarian and supervise students in the 3C Knowledge and Culture Centre. You will help manage documents, loans, and space bookings, and assist with research and multimedia activities for students from 6th to 12th grade.

Role requires proficiency in French, good English, and strong interpersonal skills. The position offers a permanent full-time contract and benefits including international medical insurance

Qualifications

• Significant training or experience in the field of information and documentation.
• Take an interest in and adapt to new technologies; curiosity and skills in computing are preferred (Word, Excel, Google Drive, video/sound editing).
• Knowledge of library management software is desirable.
• Desire to work with students from 6th to 12th grade; culture and literature interest.

Responsibilities

• Record and organize books; manage loans and delays; remind families about loans.
• Assist with remaining Secretariat tasks such as departures and liaison with relevant offices.
• Ensure the 3C space operates smoothly in librarian’s absence and assist users (students, teachers, adults).
• Guide users to locate documents via the 3C search engine (PMB) and support students in producing multimedia projects.
• Set up decorations for events across spaces and assist with workshops and video projections.
