Job summary

INTERNATIONAL FRENCH SCHOOL (SINGAPORE) LTD. is seeking a Librarian Assistant to support the teacher and supervise students in the 3C (Knowledge and Culture Centre). The role covers document management, loans, secretariat tasks, and helping with cultural activities.

You will welcome and advise users, manage spaces, and assist with audiovisual and printing tasks, collaborating with teachers and staff to support students from 6th to 12th grade.

Qualifications

• Significant training or experience in information and documentation.
• Curiosity and skills in the computer field, including basic word processing and media tools.
• Knowledge of library management software is desirable.
• Proficiency in French is required; English proficiency is desirable.
• Ability to work in a team with good interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to support students from 6th to 12th grade and a taste for culture and literature.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing documents and books in the 3C Knowledge and Culture Centre.
• Support with loans, cataloguing, and reminders to families.
• Handle secretariat tasks and liaise with_departments and offices.
• Welcome and guide users, manage student flow, and booking of spaces.
• Assist with research, workshops, and cultural activities led by the librarian.
