Job summary

U3 PROJECTS PTE. LTD. seeks a senior SAP Test Manager to lead automated testing across SAP modules (MM, FI, PM, QM, PS) and integrations like ARIBA, SAC, PaPM, and BTP.

You will mentor a team of testers, define automation strategies, and ensure quality during upgrades and cloud deployments using Tosca and ECT 2.0.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of enterprise SAP project testing experience.
• Proven SAP Test Manager with emphasis on automation for MM, FI, PM, QM, PS, ARIBA, PaPM, BTP.

Responsibilities

Job description

Test Strategy and Planning:

• Lead and implement comprehensive test strategies, with a specific focus on test automation for SAP modules (MM, FI, PM, QM, PS, and more), ARIBA, PaPM, and SAP BTP applications.
• Collaborate with the vendors, Business users and SAP functional consultants to understand automation needs and system-specific requirements.
• Define test scope, objectives, and deliverables tailored to automated testing initiatives.

Test Execution:

• Oversee the execution of automated test plans to ensure efficient and comprehensive validation of SAP modules and other SAP-based applications, including ARIBA, SAC, PaPM, and SAPBTP.
• Coordinate closely with functional and technical teams to validate system functionality during various phases of development, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Conduct various types of testing, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing, with a strong focus on automation tools like TOSCA.
• Leverage ECT 2.0, the cloud-based automation tool from Tricentis, to optimize automation testing for cloud-supported environments.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of SAP testers, emphasizing test automation expertise across SAP modules (MM, FI, PM, QM, PS, and more) and applications like ARIBA, SAC, PaPM, and BTP.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring the development of practical automation skills and an understanding of best practices.
• Conduct performance evaluations and contribute to professional development plans ensuring the team stays up to date on tools like TOSCA and ECT 2.0.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Effectively communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders, emphasizing the benefits and outcomes of implementing test automation.
• Collaborate with project team to provide accurate and timely status reports on automation milestones and results.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities for process improvement within the testing lifecycle, focusing on the adoption and optimization of automation frameworks.
• Share insights into test automation methodologies, tools, and industry trends, including cloud-based tools like ECT 2.0, to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of testing practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in enterprise SAP Projects
• Proven experience as an SAP Test Manager, with a significant focus on test automation for SAP modules (MM, FI, PM, QM, PS, and more), ARIBA, PaPM, and SAP BTP applications for a largescale project.
• Hands-on experience with Tricentis TOSCA and ECT 2.0 (cloud automation).
• Strong knowledge of SAP applications, modules, and unit, functional, integration, and regression testing strategies/tools for various SAP systems and applications.
• Experience with testing methodologies and systems, with a focus on automation tools for cloud and hybrid environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in using AI to generate the test case is a plus
