Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of hands-on software test automation experience.

• Experience with test management/defect tracking tools such as JIRA or TestRail.
• Good understanding of SDLC and software testing methodologies.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to support software quality assurance across enterprise applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure application quality, improve testing efficiency, and support successful software delivery.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with TricentisTosca or Tricentis NeoLoad, enjoys solving technical challenges, and works effectively with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca, Tricentis NeoLoad, or equivalent automation testing tools.
• Build reusable and scalable automation components to improve test efficiency and reduce maintenance effort.
• Develop automation test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing for desktop, web, and mobile applications.
• Prepare automation test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and investigate defects or application issues.
• Record, track, and manage defects using test management and issue tracking tools.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and project stakeholders to understand business requirements and application functionality.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, testing processes, and overall software quality.
• Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in software test automation.
• Strong experience with Tricentis Tosca or Tricentis NeoLoad. Candidates with advanced knowledge of similar automation tools will also be considered.
• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
