Job summary

manpower staffing services (singapore) pte ltd is seeking an experienced QA Lead to manage a group of automation engineers and drive testing excellence across regression and performance tracks.

You will design test plans, implement standards, and collaborate with analysts, PMs, and developers to ensure coverage and compliance while mentoring the team and advancing AI-assisted testing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IS, or related field.
• 5+ years in software testing, QA, or quality engineering.
• Proficiency in test automation for regression and performance (Tricentis Tosca, NeoLoad).
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Experience with risk compliance and process validation.
• Mentoring and building quality culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of 10 automation engineers across regression and performance tracks.
• Develop QA strategies, frameworks, and standards across software projects.
• Design and execute functional, regression, performance, and API tests.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and governance policies.
• Collaborate with BAs, PMs, developers, and product managers to define acceptance criteria and coverage.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and automate testing within the lifecycle.
• Lead initiatives to improve testing efficiency and reduce cycle times.
• Support Agile practices and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align quality goals with business needs.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage group of 10 automation engineers from both regression and performance tracks.


• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, frameworks, and standards across software development projects.


• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, performance, and API testing.


• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance policies.


• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage.


• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the testing lifecycle.


• Lead initiatives to improve testing efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance product quality.


• Support agile software development practices and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and backloggrooming.


• Work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, business analysts, and project managers to align quality goals with business needs.


• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of quality objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or quality engineering.


• Proficiency in test automation tools for regression and performance (e.g.,TricentisTOSCA,NeoLoad)


• Strong understanding of software development methodologies including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD.


• Experience with configuration tracking, process validation, and risk compliance.


• Familiarity with performance management, business needs analysis, and strategy planning.


• Demonstrated experience in test planning and estimation, quality metrics governance, and defect lifecycle management.


• Experience in team mentoring, capability building, and quality culture transformation.


• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing or productivity tooling is an advantage.
