Job summary

DNA INFOTECH PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced SAP Testing Lead (L3) to drive end-to-end SAP testing across MM and Retail modules. You will own test planning, design, execution, and defect management while collaborating with ABAP, development and business teams.

Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC, test strategies and dashboards is essential. Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations is a plus. The role focuses on high-quality SAP processes and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP testing activities across phases and releases.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Testing Lead – L3 with strong expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP Retail to lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for SAP applications and business processes.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in SAP testing, SDLC, testing methodologies, defect management, test planning, and reporting, along with a strong understanding of core SAP functional processes. Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP testing activities across different testing phases and releases.
• Demonstrate strong functional expertise in SAP MM – Materials Management and SAP Retail.
• Understand and validate end-to-end SAP business process flows and translate business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios.
• Design and execute end-to-end business process testing covering integrated SAP processes.
• Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and execution approaches.
• Ensure testing activities align with defined testing standards, methodologies, quality practices, and SDLC requirements.
• Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including defect identification, analysis, prioritization, tracking, resolution, retesting, and closure.
• Coordinate closely with Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, ABAP teams, development teams, and business stakeholders to resolve functional and technical issues.
• Utilize test management tools for test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Establish, monitor, and maintain testing KPIs and quality metrics to track testing progress and effectiveness.
• Prepare and present test status reports, testing dashboards, defect reports, and management-level updates.
• Track testing efforts, resource utilization, and task completion against planned timelines.
• Ensure development deliverables meet defined quality criteria through effective test planning, execution, validation, and defect management.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in testing processes, methodologies, and quality practices.
• Work closely with the test automation team, providing functional knowledge and supporting automation script development, validation, and remediation.
• Manage, guide, train, and mentor testing resources on SAP testing best practices, methodologies, and quality standards.
• Support testing governance and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership.

• Strong experience in SAP Testing – mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of testing best practices, standards, methodologies, metrics, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience managing testing KPIs and quality metrics.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, ABAP teams, developers, and business users.
• Experience in preparing test reports, dashboards, presentations, and testing documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• Experience in leading, mentoring, and guiding testing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
