Job summary

H.K.L. Scaffolding & Formwork Pte Ltd is seeking an Accounts Data Entry Clerk (SAP) on a contract basis to perform accurate data entry of accounting transactions into SAP and to process supplier invoices, POs, vouchers and receipts.

You will verify entries, assist with AP/AR data entry, and maintain accounting records with close attention to detail. The role requires SAP experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level, LCCI or equivalent qualification.
• Prior SAP accounting software experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of accounts data entry or accounting experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting transactions and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Meticulous, responsible and well-organised.
• Able to commence work at short notice is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely data entry of accounting transactions into the SAP system.
• Input and process supplier invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Verify and cross-check accounting entries against supporting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) data entry.
• Maintain and update accounting records, databases and filing systems.
• Assist with reconciliation of accounting records and preparation of basic accounting reports.
• Liaise with the Accounts Department to clarify discrepancies and obtain missing information.
• Perform other accounting data entry and administrative duties as assigned.
