Job summary

Metalcool is a Singapore precision engineering company specialising in customised cutting tools for the aerospace and general engineering industries. We are seeking a Sales Support Executive to manage day-to-day coordination of customer enquiries, quotations and orders, ensuring requirements are followed, and orders are processed accurately.

The role involves reviewing RFQs, preparing quotations, coordinating with internal teams for costing and delivery confirmations, and maintaining ERP records

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Preferably at least 2 years in sales support, coordination, or a similar B2B role.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial products is preferred.
• Comfortable using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check customer Purchase Orders against quotations and requirements.

We are looking for a Sales Support Executive to manage the day-to-day coordination of customer enquiries, quotations and orders. The role focuses on ensuring customer requirements are properly followed through, orders are accurately processed and outstanding actions are not left unattended.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review customer enquiries and RFQs.
• Prepare quotations for standard and repeat requirements.
• Coordinate internally for costing, technical information and delivery confirmation where required.
• Receive and check customer Purchase Orders against quotations and agreed requirements.
• Identify discrepancies in pricing, quantities or delivery requirements before processing.
• Enter and maintain customer orders in the company's ERP and internal systems.
• Prepare order acknowledgements and related sales documentation.
• Monitor open orders and follow up on production and delivery status.
• Provide customers with routine order and delivery updates.
• Highlight delays or unresolved issues early.
• Maintain accurate customer, quotation and order records.
• Assist with customer portals and commercial documentation.
• Support routine payment and customer account follow-up.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in sales support, sales coordination, customer service, order management or a similar B2B role.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial products, logistics or distribution is preferred.
• Comfortable using ERP systems, Microsoft Excel and standard office applications.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Careful and accurate when handling quotations, Purchase Orders and delivery information.
• Able to follow up independently and keep track of multiple outstanding items.
