Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Sales Leader to drive growth across Singapore and export markets, overseeing marketing and customer service and reporting to the Managing Director.

The role focuses on developing sales plans, monitoring performance, coaching the team, visiting dealers and end users, and promoting industrial machinery and technical products through exhibitions and targeted promotions.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 5 years of working related experience in managing, coaching and developing a sales team of 5 or more people.
• Experience in dealer/distributor sales is advantageous.
• Sales experience in industrial/technical products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the sales and profit targets set by the Company.
• Manage the overall sales function covering the Singapore domestic market and export markets, including Marketing and Customer Service.
• Manage annual and monthly sales, profit and sales forecasts.
• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve Company targets.
• Monitor and follow up on sales performance, sales activities and business opportunities handled by the sales team.
• Provide direction, field support, coaching and training to sales staff.
• Regularly visit dealers for product proposals, sales promotion and relationship building.
• Visit end users and provide product proposals based on their requirements.
• Analyze the market, identify promising target customers and market segments, and develop appropriate sales approaches.
• Promote solution-based selling by understanding the problems and needs of dealers and end users and proposing suitable products and solutions.
• Develop new customers, new dealers and new business opportunities.
• Promote new products and other focus products.
• Participate in exhibitions, roadshows, product demonstrations and other sales promotion activities.
• Gather information on market trends, customer needs, competitor products and pricing, and apply the findings to sales activities.
• Manage and follow up on export market sales through the Export Sales Manager.
• Become involved when necessary in major export business opportunities, distributor discussions and problem resolution.
• Work closely with Service, Customer Service, Product, Logistics and other relevant departments.
• Report directly to the Managing Director.
