Job summary

HRLinked Asia Search & Consultancy Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Business Development professional in automation equipment design and manufacturing. You will work with Senior Management to develop selection criteria and negotiation terms for technology licensing, JV or other collaboration methods.

Identify opportunities for new markets locally and abroad, create market entry plans, and develop knowledge to support our unique selling propositions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in business development.
• Experience in automation equipment design/manufacturing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define selection criteria and negotiation terms for technology licensing or JV.
• Identify growth opportunities and market entry plans.
• Develop market knowledge to support unique selling propositions.
• Analyze customer research and market trends.
• Build relationships with consultants, government, industry groups, and academia.

About the Role

To contribute and achieve long term strategic plan of expansion into key markets in automation equipment design and manufacturing

• Permanent role

Responsibilities

• Work with Senior Management to develop the selection criteria & key negotiation terms for technology licensing, JV or other collaboration methods.
• Identify the areas of opportunities and focus for products & services recommendation.
• Identify potential new markets locally and abroad, and create a plan to enter the market.
• Develop and use knowledge of the markets to identify, develop and support the Company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
• Analysis of customer research, current market trend and conditions information.
• Research, find, build, develop and enhance new & existing relationships with key business consultant, government, industry association, academic institutions in related areas and turn into business opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for selling and distributing channels that will lead to increase business opportunities.
• Attend related activities, such as conference and seminars, and provide feedback and information on market trends.
• Planning and preparing presentations.
• Conduct information sessions and other presentations of events, products and services to enhance existing/new relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diplomas in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business development.

Required Skills

• Knowledge in Automation technology not mandatory but will be an added advantage.
• Pleasant and easy-going with good interpersonal & communication skill.
• Familiar in using Microsoft Excel, Words and Powerpoint.
• Regional travelling is expected.
