Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is looking for a sales professional to drive growth in electronics and wire & cable assemblies from our Ang Mo Kio office. You will follow up leads, understand customers’ technical needs and coordinate with overseas factories to deliver customised solutions.

This role requires frequent overseas travel, strong communication, and the ability to manage the sales process from quotation to order, including market research and customer payments.

Qualifications

• Minimum O-Level education.
• Basic knowledge of Electronics or Electrical principles is essential.
• Entry-level candidates with relevant Electronics/Electrical knowledge are welcome.
• Good communication and presentation skills to liaise with customers and supporting teams overseas.
• Comfortable with frequent overseas travel.
• Class 3 driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on leads provided by the company, conduct client research and identify additional business opportunities within existing accounts.
• Understand customers' technical and business requirements and recommend suitable customised wire and cable assembly solutions.
• Coordinate with customers and overseas factories to support product development, customisation and technical requirements.
• Manage the sales process from sample development through to mass production, working closely with assigned coordinators.
• Monitor customers' forecasts, business requirements and orders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Follow up on quotations, negotiations and sales opportunities to secure new business.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and provide ongoing support to ensure business continuity.
• Conduct market research, monitor industry trends and share customer feedback with internal development teams.
• Track sales performance, maintain accurate customer and sales records, analyse sales activities and follow up on customer payment status.
• Travel overseas regularly to meet customers and coordinate with the company's manufacturing facilities.

Location: Ang Mo Kio

Salary: Up to $2,800 basic + $600 transport / vehicle maintenance allowance + overseas travel allowance + AWS

Working Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm

Our client is an established manufacturer specialising in wire and cable assemblies and interconnect systems, serving the automotive, consumer, medical and industrial sectors, with additional capabilities in New Product Introduction (NPI) and IoT product development support.
