Job summary

JAC Recruitment Pte Ltd is assisting a leading manufacturer of sealing solutions for the semiconductor sector in Singapore. We are seeking a Sales Engineer to develop opportunities across Singapore and the SEA region, managing customer relationships and promoting specialized O-rings and elastomer products.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience in semiconductors, strong communication and negotiation skills, and Japanese language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Japanese language proficiency is mandatory to interact with Japanese-speaking customers and HQ/regions in Japan.
• Experience in sales, account management, or business development within the semiconductor industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with semiconductor manufacturers and equipment manufacturers through regular customer engagement.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts by understanding customer requirements and future projects.
• Promote and recommend suitable sealing solutions, including O-rings and elastomer products, based on customer applications and technical needs.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential sales opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, sales forecasts, reports, and follow up on customer orders and inquiries.
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage customer requirements, inventory planning, and delivery schedules.
• Liaise with regional counterparts in Asia and other global offices to support customer projects and business development activities.
• Travel within Singapore and Southeast Asia as required.
