Job summary

Lightway HR Consultancy is assisting a leading Original Equipment Maker in the Built Environment to recruit a Sales Engineer (Upgrading) in Singapore. The role focuses on driving upgrading sales for building systems and developing new business opportunities in the East region.

The candidate should have strong sales experience, solid technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, and excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage the full sales cycle from lead to contract.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in building services sectors.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently.
• Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue upgrading sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine upgrading needs and develop customized solutions for building systems.
• Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to clients.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
• Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with building owners, property managers, and consultants.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
• Develop understanding of building systems and upgrading technologies, and collaborate with technical teams.
