Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical/manufacturing/precision engineering.
• At least 2 years of sales or business development experience in relevant industries.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining, GD&T, tolerances, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to secure repeat business and identify new sales opportunities
• Promote and sell precision engineering and manufacturing services such as machining, fabrication, assembly, and value-added processes to meet customer needs
• Analyze customer technical requirements, specifications, drawings, and quality standards to coordinate with internal teams for effective solution delivery
• Prepare and submit accurate quotations, cost estimates, proposals, and tender documents within deadlines
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to achieve favorable agreements and maximize profitability
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain departments to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled on time
• Monitor order status, delivery schedules, and project progress to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction
• Address customer enquiries, complaints, and quality issues by facilitating corrective actions and maintaining service standards
• Prepare sales forecasts and reports to provide management with insights on sales performance and market trends
• Achieve individual sales targets, gross margin objectives, and KPIs set by the company

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of sales, business development, or customer service experience in precision engineering, machining, metalworking, semiconductor, aerospace, or related manufacturing industries
• Proficient understanding of CNC machining, fabrication, engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, materials, surface treatments, and manufacturing processes
• Strong skills in sales, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal engagement to drive business outcomes
• Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
