Job summary

Alstern Technologies Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a cost estimator to support tendering and project estimation for ACMV, electrical, ducting and building services. You will analyze drawings, BOQs and specifications to prepare accurate estimates.

The role collaborates with procurement, engineering and project teams, sources quotations, compiles cost summaries and assists with tender submissions while learning and contributing to value engineering.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in ACMV/MEP estimation or projects.
• Basic understanding or strong interest in ACMV and building services systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing tender documents, drawings, and project specifications to support cost estimation for ACMV, Electrical, Ducting, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Sanitary systems.

• Support documentation and coordination throughout the tendering and project execution process.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to gain a better understanding of project scope and systems.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute positively to team objectives.
