Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced customer service professional for a 1 year contract, renewable.

Based at Seletar, you will support key account managers, handle internal sales, and manage orders, RFQs, and invoicing with ERP systems. The role requires 3+ years in customer service, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple accounts, with occasional overtime and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Key account Managers to maintain and support customer relationship, improve business engagement and performance
• Internal sales to support to capture ad-hoc demand through available business channel
• Daily process including Order receiving, Sales order maintenance and basic RFQs, consult account manager when necessary
• Experience in ERP systems (QAD, SAP, Oracle)
• Respond to customer quotes, orders, enquiries, and invoicing issues in a professional manner
• Coordinate with plant production, purchasing, and logistics to ensure product availability and on-time shipment

Working hours: 8AM to 5PM

Location: Seletar - Must be comfortable with the location

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support Key account Managers to maintain and support customer relationship, improve business engagement and performance
• Internal sales to support to capture ad-hoc demand through available business channel
• Daily process including Order receiving, Sales order maintenance and basic RFQs, consult account manager when necessary
• Experience in ERP systems (QAD, SAP, Oracle)
• Promptly respond to & action customer quotes, orders, enquiries, and invoicing issues in an integral & professional manner.
• Accuracy in recording & entering information, especially product names, batch numbers, and specifications.
• Co-ordinate with plant production, purchasing, and logistics to ensure product availability and timely shipment of products to meet customer requirements.
• Proactive in communication, both external customer and internal operation functions
• Co-ordinate customer complaints with relevant area functions
• Set priorities and support business/management directions
• Quickly learner to gain basic understanding of the products and services offered, in order to quickly respond to simple customer inquiries
• Provide regular feedback on customer needs and orders to Sales team.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in general office area.

• 3+ years of experience in customer service or a related role, preferably within the chemical industry
