Job summary

ASK M&E PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety coordinator to promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with WSH regulations on site.

You will conduct daily site inspections, train and monitor workers on safe practices, and act as a safety assessor for high-risk construction activities. Responsibilities include investigating incidents, recommending corrective actions, performing risk assessments, and implementing control measures for site activities.

• Promote the safe conduct of the work generally within the worksite.
• Promote good safety & health practices.
• Conduct daily inspection and act on non-compliances to EHS standards and conditions.
• Training and monitoring of workers performance on safe work practices.
• Act as safety assessors in assessing and inspecting of work areas for high-risk construction work activities.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Regulations and other legislative requirements
• Enforce all WSH requirements and in-house rules and regulations
• Assist in investigating and reporting accidents or incidents, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Assist in conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures for site activities.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Monday to Friday - 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM plus OT
