Job summary

Ask M & E is seeking a Safety Coordinator to promote safe conduct and health practices on the worksite in Singapore. You will conduct daily site inspections, address non-compliances to EHS standards, and train workers on safe work practices.

You will act as safety assessor for high-risk activities, ensure compliance with WSH Regulations, enforce in-house rules, investigate incidents, perform risk assessments, implement controls, and perform ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications

• Experience promoting and enforcing safety and health practices.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Experience conducting site inspections and addressing non-compliances.
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health regulations.

We are looking for a Safety coordinator to join our team:

Job description:

Promote the safe conduct of the work generally within the worksite;

Promote good safety &health practices;

Conduct daily inspection and act on non-compliances to EHS standards and conditions.

Training and monitoring of workers performance on safe work practices.
Act as safety assessors in assessing and inspecting of work areas for high-risk construction work activities.

Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Regulations and other legislative requirements

Enforce all WSH requirements and in-house rules and regulations

Assist in investigating and reporting accidents or incidents, and recommend corrective and preventive actions

Assist in conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures for site activities.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday - 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM plus OT
