Job summary

QIDONGJINHUA CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a dedicated safety professional to develop and implement site safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves conducting inspections, leading toolbox talks, and coordinating with clients and contractors to uphold a strong safety culture.

The ideal candidate will perform incident investigations, prepare MOM reports, and support project managers in all safety aspects on site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs across sites.
• Perform regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and issues.
• Recommend solutions or improvements based on risk findings.
• Conduct hazard analyses for new projects, equipment, or processes.
• Deliver safety training, education, and toolbox talks to staff.
• Stay updated on safety regulations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and lodge Workplace Incident Reports to MOM.
• Conduct routine safety inspections of workplace, tools, equipment, and workspaces.
• Foster a safety culture to raise awareness and improve safety practices.
• Monitor safety procedures and records, including inspection reports and training certifications.
• Keep safety documentation up to date for audits or inspections.
• Inspect PPE for validity and safe condition and liaise with stakeholders on safety matters.
• Assist the Project Manager on all safety aspects and attend site meetings.
• Report safety data and safety reports to Management.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

Develop and Implement Safety Programs.

Perform regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and potential safety issues.

Recommend solutions or improvements based on risk findings.

Conduct hazard analysis for new projects, equipment, or processes.

Conduct Training, Education & Briefing including Safety Toolbox meetings.

Stay updated on safety regulations to ensure compliance to relevant regulatory guidelines and compliant to the Contract work scope.

Investigate Accidents and Incidents, prepare & lodge Workplace Incident Reports to MOM, and implement corrective actions.

Conduct regular safety inspections of the workplace, tools, equipment, and workspaces.

Foster a Safety culture in the workplace to enhance employee awareness and work safety.

Monitor and maintain safety procedures and safety records, including inspection reports, accident logs, and employee safety training certifications and training sessions.

Ensure all safety documentation is up to date and readily accessible for audits or inspections.

Inspect and ensure site personnels' Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are within validity and in safe, functional condition.

Liaise with client/main contractor/subcon on all site safety matters.

Assist the Project Manager in all aspect of project safety and attend site meetings.

Report Safety Data & Reports to Management.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
