Job summary

NEXON ENERGY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a diligent Safety Officer to ensure projects comply with the company’s safety rules and regulations. You will supervise site operations, review permits, method statements, and job safety analyses to safeguard workers and the public.

You will work with the safety team to inspect sites, maintain health records, and address safety issues promptly while ensuring adherence to the WSH Act and subsidiaries. This role involves ad-hoc duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project works are conducted according to the company’s regulations and assist in implementing the company's rules and regulations
• To ensure Permit-to-work, Method statement and Job Safety Analysis are understood by site supervisors and workers
• Liaise with regulatory bodies on safety related notices & issues, ensuring certifications are up to date and relevant
• Preparation of all documentations and bridging documents required by Company’s specification and Job Safety Analysis
• Inspect project sites to ensure safety measures are being carried out at all times
• Work closely with safety officer and safety personnel to ensure safety compliance are met
• Maintain good house-keeping of all safety and health records
• Follow up on all safety-related issues
• Comply and assist in implementing the requirements of the WSH Act and all its subsidiary and statutory legal legislations
• Other Ad-hoc duties assigned
