Job summary

TECHNIHUB IEA SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. seeks a Safety Coordinator to oversee Workplace Safety and Health on site in Singapore. You will coordinate safety meetings, conduct toolbox talks, ensure PPE compliance, and assist in regulatory documentation.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in OSH&E, a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course, and knowledge of local regulations. Independent work style and ability to liaise with site operations are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental fields.
• Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course is required.
• Strong knowledge of government safety regulations.
• Electrical knowledge in construction is a plus and familiarity with OSH/ISO documentation.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Workplace Safety and Health meetings and conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks and training.
• Ensure all workers wear PPE on site.
• Ensure design/installation complies with site conditions and electrical codes.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and enforce MOM safety regulations.
• Maintain records and assist in regulatory documentation.

• Co-ordinate Workplace Safety and Health Meetings and conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and training
• Ensure all workers at the site are wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
• Ensure all the design/installation detail can be done according to site conditions.
• Ensure that electrical installations comply with relevant codes of practice for electrical installations and other related statutory requirement.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and enforce compliance with prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations and other requirements.
• Assist in all issues related to workplace safety, health, and environmental control.
• Liaise closely with site operations staff on all safety and health issues.
• Conduct and review Risk Assessments and assist in identifying and assessing risks arising from the workplace.
• Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as may be required by the regulatory authorities.
• To ensure of safe measurements on site as a duty of a Safe Management Officer.
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirement

• Min 2 years of relevant experience in the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental field
• Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes.
• Good knowledge of Government Regulations
• Electrical Knowledge in the Construction Industry is an added advantage.Familiar with OSH/ ISO documentation
• Able to work independently.
