Job summary

ATTIKA INTERIOR + MEP PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety & Health Supervisor to lead site-level HSE activities across multiple construction sites in Singapore. You will implement procedures, conduct weekly inspections, and ensure workers wear PPE.

The role requires 3+ years in construction, familiarity with risk management and ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001, and the ability to review method statements and safe work procedures. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant Safety & Health Certificates required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction.
• Familiar with risk management procedures.
• Familiar with OHSAS 18001 or ISO 14001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement HSE procedures across sites.
• Conduct weekly inspections with subcontractors’ supervisors.
• Ensure machinery/equipment are safe and certified.
• Ensure workers wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Lead weekly safety talks/briefings.
• Maintain good housekeeping on a daily basis.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks with subcontractors.
• Provide safety inductions for new workers.
• Carry out daily safety inspections.
• Advise external visitors on safety needs.
• Update safety records in the safety systems.
• Follow up on outstanding safety issues.
• Review subcontractors’ MTAs, risk assessments and SWPs.

Education

Safety certificates (BCSS / WSH)

3+ years construction experience

Risk management knowledge

OHSAS 18001 / ISO 14001 familiarity

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Implement HSE procedures

• Ensure all machinery and equipment at site are in good working conditions and having all the necessary working certificates
• Ensure all workers at site are wearing appropriate PPE at all times
• Conduct weekly safety talk/ briefing
• Ensure proper housekeeping by the subcontractors on daily basis
• Conduct daily toolbox with the subcontractors
• Conduct safety induction program for new workers
• Conduct daily safety inspection
• Advise external customers of safety needs when visiting the site
• Update safety records into the safety systems
• Following up on all outstanding safety related issues
• Review sub-contractors’ method statements, risk assessments and safe work procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant Safety & Health Certificates, including Building Construction Safety Supervisor Certificate and Advance Certificate in WSH or Certificate in Safety Coordinator Training Course

• Familiar with OHSAS 18001 or ISO 14001
