Job summary

MCUBE ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Supervisor/Coordinator to enforce WSH compliance on site in Singapore. You will conduct daily inspections, verify SWPs and risk assessments, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.

The role requires at least 2 years in construction safety, with a WSQ Level B qualification, and preference for candidates with contractor site experience. Work closely with ASM/PSM to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B).
• At least 2 years of working experience in the construction industry as a Safety Supervisor/Coordinator in Singapore.
• Contractor site work experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily inspections to identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
• Supervise all work activities to comply with the WSH Act, WSH Regulations, and project safety requirements.
• Verify workers follow SWPs and risk assessments (RAs).
• Identify workplace hazards and report during construction activities.
• Recommend and implement appropriate control measures.
• Communicate site hazards, control measures, and safety reminders to workers and site supervisors.
• Supervise High Risk activities such as lifting operations, work at height, excavation, confined spaces, hot works, demolition, and piling.
• Verify contractor Site Safety Records such as MSRA Briefing Records, PTW, Training records and toolbox meeting records.
• Report unsafe conditions/unsafe acts immediately.
• Contact ASM/PSM of incidents and provide updates.
• Work closely with ASM/PSM to maintain a safe work environment.

7. Communicate site hazards, control measures, and safety reminders to workers and site supervisors.
8. Supervise High Risk activities such as; Lifting operations, Work at height, Excavation works, Confined space entry, Hot works, Demolition works a and Piling works
