Job summary

OMNI-CREST ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Site Safety Officer to lead incident investigations and enforce safety practices on active construction sites.

You will review incidents, coordinate toolbox talks, and conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires strong teamwork and leadership, the ability to coordinate corrective actions quickly, and to run safety inductions for all site staff.

Responsibilities

• Review and investigate incidents/accidents and recommend countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate daily toolbox meetings and maintain records.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and other required site safety inspections.
• Coordinate immediate rectification of unsafe conditions and correct safety malpractices on site.
• Monitor enforcement of in-house rules and safe work practices on site.
• Coordinate and conduct safety induction courses for all site staff.
• Gather feedback from workers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

• To review, conduct incident / accident investigation and provide recommendations for countermeasures and to prevent recurrence of accident
• To coordinate of daily toolbox meeting and upkeep the records
• To conduct daily safety inspection and other type of safety inspection as required at work site
• To coordinate the immediate rectification of unsafe conditions and correct any safety malpractices on site
• Monitor and oversee the enforcement of In-house Rule and Regulation and ensure safe work practices on site
• Coordinate and conduct the safety induction course to all site staffs
• Gathering feedback from workers
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Superior from time to time
