Job summary

Nexon Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Safety Officer to coordinate and oversee our employee safety program. You will implement safety plans and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities include preparing risk assessments (RA) and safe work procedures (SWP) briefings, and reporting safety issues to the site team, while creating policies to reduce injuries. Documentation of safety procedures and incidents is required, with recommendations for workplace improvements.

• Assist WSH Officer to ensure that the workplace is safe and free from any risks.
• Prepare and check on all risk assessment (RA)/safe work procedures (SWP) briefings etc.
• Ensure all site works are carried out in a safe manner and follow local health and safety regulations.
• Create policies and standards to reduce job-related accidents and injuries.
• Report to the site team for all safety issues.
• Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace
• Maintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents and related events
