Job summary

YYForce in Singapore is seeking a Robotics Engineer, Manipulation to enable our robots to interact safely and reliably with objects in real‑world environments.

You will develop manipulation capabilities for arms and hands, integrate grasp and motion planning, and test on physical robots, collaborating with perception, embodied AI and system engineers.

This role offers strong ownership from early development through real-world deployment in hospitality applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, CS, EE or related field.
• Proficient in C++ and/or Python.
• Knowledge of robot kinematics and motion planning.
• Experience with ROS or ROS 2.
• Ability to develop, test and debug software for robotic systems.
• Willingness to work across software and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate manipulation capabilities for arms, hands and end effectors.
• Implement grasp planning, motion planning and manipulation control.
• Integrate perception outputs into reliable manipulation behaviors.
• Develop task execution, safety checks and recovery behaviors for manipulation.
• Evaluate and integrate manipulation hardware, software and supporting sensors.
• Test capabilities on physical robots and improve their accuracy, reliability and robustness.
• Support the deployment and troubleshooting of manipulation systems in real-world environments.
• Collaborate with perception, embodied AI and system engineers on end-to-end robot applications.
