Job summary

Red Hat, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Technical Account Manager to support enterprise customers on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux portfolio.

You will provide proactive technical guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive root-cause analysis to improve system stability and performance. You will build trusted customer relationships, identify opportunities to expand the RHEL footprint, and drive adoption across enterprise environments while collaborating with field teams and product management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline (CS/Engineering)
• Strong English communication and enterprise relationship-building
• Extensive experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Understanding of Linux kernel performance issues, system diagnostics and root cause analysis
• Experience with storage technologies and filesystems in RHEL environments
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite for provisioning, patch management, and lifecycle management
• Understanding of IdM/IPA and enterprise identity management concepts
• Experience with RHDS and LDAP-based directory services
• Experience with Red Hat High Availability solutions (Pacemaker)
• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive technical guidance and advisory services to enterprise customers
• Perform technical reviews and develop solutions for complex challenges
• Understand customers' infrastructures and tailor engagement plans
• Investigate, resolve, and document cases with clear root-cause analysis
• Travel to visit customers, partners, and events as needed
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Global Support Services to improve customer outcomes
• Share knowledge and best practices internally and mentor teammates
