Job summary

ASICS ASIA PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-performing retail team and to deliver memorable customer experiences on the shop floor.

You will supervise and coach sales associates, develop product knowledge, maintain merchandising standards, and collaborate with colleagues to hit sales KPIs while upholding brand guidelines. This on-site role offers growth within a global athletic brand.

Responsibilities

• Supervising, assisting and motivating sales associates to deliver high-value experiences on the selling floor; act as a quality-control supervisor for customer interactions
• Partner with associates to improve selling skills and close sales to achieve KPIs
• Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when needed
• Provide the highest level of customer service and ensure customers are treated with respect
• Develop thorough knowledge of products in store
• Maintain merchandising standards according to brand guidelines
• Keep up to date with current trends and the brand’s market position
• Follow all operational procedures in the store and stock room

• Supervising, assisting and motivating sales associates to consistently deliver high-value experiences on the selling floor to every client; act as a “quality control” supervisor ensuring that every interaction with a customer is memorable (For Supervisory role)
• Partner with associates to improve overall selling skills and close sales in order to achieve sales goals and KPIs (For Supervisory role)
• Resolve difficult customer issues and escalation to management when necessary. (For Supervisory role)
• Providing the highest level of customer service, ensuring that all customers are treated with respect
• Developing a thorough knowledge of products in store
• Maintaining merchandising standards in accordance with brand guidelines
• Keeping up to date with current trends and the brand’s place within the market
• Following all operational procedures in the store and in the stock room.
