Job summary

pets' station holding pte ltd in Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic retail assistant to support day-to-day operations, help customers with product choices, and perform cashiering. No prior experience required and on-job training will be provided. Weekend and public holiday shifts are expected; weekday off may apply.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day business operations of the retail store.
• Perform cashiering function / Cashiering counter closing.
• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.
• Promoting products by upselling and cross-selling.
• Handling customer complaints and feedback
• Performing pet care and hygiene (in outlets with live small animals)
• Arranging product displays and maintaining sales floor appearance and cleanliness
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for staff, customers and pets.
• Stocktaking, replenishing stocks, ordering and receiving goods.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day business operations of the retail store; liaising with customers in order to ensure a transaction goes smoothly. You are expected to help customers choose between the company’s array of goods and services, process payments and maintain a high-level of customer service and relations. You may be involved in handling pets too.
