Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking a Credit Reviewer for its Retail Mortgage team in Singapore. Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of banking experience (preferably in mortgages).
• Aptitude in software programs and well verse in Microsoft programs especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledgeable in real estate industry, real estate current affairs and economic outlook.
• Conversant in real estate and mortgage loans regulations.
• Good credit analytical skills, meticulous and attentive to details.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attitude and interpersonal skills, able to interact professionally and manage objections effectively.
• Able to work independently, fast learner and able to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, analyze and make recommendations for mortgage applications (including new, restructures and others).
• Liaise with stakeholders (including Sales staff, mortgage relations staff, Credit Operation staff) for documentations and rectifications.
• Compliance and documentation checks on mortgage applications.
• Review property valuation reports.
• Credit evaluation and follow up on post disbursement issues, other miscellaneous requests.
