Job summary

Singtel, a leading AI-first telco, seeks a Retail Manager to drive sales performance and customer experience across its retail store. You will lead frontline teams, manage manpower and inventory, and act as the store’s Technology Advisor to stay current with products and digital ways of working.

You will coach staff to deliver strong results, ensure operational excellence, and foster a customer‑first culture. This role requires hands-on leadership and a passion for technology.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of sales experience in physical retail stores.
• Strong experience managing and leading frontline sales teams.
• Good sales and business acumen.
• Strong organisational and store-management capabilities.
• Basic financial management skills.
• Good merchandising and visual presentation capabilities.
• Comfortable with data analysis and sales performance reporting.
• Good inventory management skills.
• Excellent customer service and service‑recovery capabilities.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Good problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
• Comfortable presenting and communicating information to teams.
• Good technology and digital literacy, with the ability to learn and explain new products and services.

Responsibilities

• Sales Planning & Performance Management: plan rosters, track sales, drive incentives, coach teams.
• Store Operations: achieve daily targets, brief staff on updates, mentor for performance.
• Customer Experience: maintain high service level; address customer needs; manage escalations.
• Inventory Management: monitor sales, maintain stock accuracy.
• Operational Effectiveness: comply with policies, drive process improvements, uphold values.
