Job summary

Singtel is seeking a Retail Manager to lead frontline teams, drive sales performance and deliver outstanding customer experiences in our retail store. You will manage rosters, coach staff, and ensure inventory, merchandising and operational excellence while serving as the store’s Technology Advisor.

Bring 5–10 years of in-store sales leadership, strong business acumen and the ability to analyse sales data. The role emphasizes digital literacy and the coaching of teams to achieve high performance.

Qualifications

• Minimally N’ Level qualification.
• At least 5–10 years of sales experience in physical retail stores.
• Strong experience managing and leading frontline sales teams.
• Good sales and business acumen.
• Strong organisational and store-management capabilities.
• Basic financial management skills.
• Good merchandising and visual presentation capabilities.
• Comfortable with data analysis and sales performance reporting.
• Good inventory management skills.
• Excellent customer service and service-recovery capabilities.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Good problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
• Comfortable presenting and communicating information to teams.
• Good technology and digital literacy, with the ability to learn and explain new products and services.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline teams to drive sales performance and exceptional customer experiences across the store.
• Compute staff rosters and optimize coverage according to customer traffic patterns.
• Champion in-store promotions, incentive programs and performance tracking.
• Mentor staff to improve sales and customer experience KPIs.
• Maintain product knowledge and provide technical guidance on latest products and services.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, stock control and merchandising standards.
• Ensure smooth store operations and compliance with SOPs and audit requirements.
• Deliver a customer-first culture and role-model digital ways of working.
