Job summary

GFM VIVO CITY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a friendly Restaurant Receptionist to provide guests with a welcoming dining experience.

You will assist with customer service, order-taking, food service, and maintain dining area cleanliness. Prior restaurant or customer-service experience is helpful but not essential.

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred but not required.
• Must communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and explain dishes, promotions and available options.
• Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Check on guests and respond promptly to their requests.
• Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally and refer complex matters to a supervisor.
• Assist with reservations, queues and seating arrangements.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness.
