Job summary

GFM VIVO CITY PTE. LTD. seeks a friendly Front of House Crew member to deliver welcoming service in our Singapore dining venue. You will assist guests, take orders, serve food and maintain a clean, orderly dining area.

Experience is helpful but not required. You should be approachable, good at communication, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced team, including shifts on weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is helpful but not essential.
• Friendly, approachable and service-oriented.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
• Good teamwork and time-management skills.
• Able to handle payments accurately.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and explain dishes, promotions and available options.
• Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and according to service standards.
• Set up, clear and reset tables efficiently.
• Check on guests and respond promptly to their requests.
• Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally and refer complex matters to a supervisor.
• Process cash, card and other approved payments accurately.
• Assist with reservations, queues and seating arrangements.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure accurate and timely orders.
• Prepare and maintain service stations, utensils and supplies.
• Keep the dining area, counters and customer-facing areas clean and organised.
• Follow food hygiene, workplace safety and customer-service procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.
