Job summary

MANI IYER FOOD PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Cleaning & Kitchen Support Crew to help with daily restaurant and kitchen operations.

The role involves washing vessels, plates, and kitchen equipment, and maintaining cleanliness across the kitchen, dining area and other restaurant spaces. Ideal candidates are hygiene-conscious, physically able to perform duties in a busy environment, and willing to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant cleaning, dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, housekeeping or F&B support is preferred.
• Experience in an Indian or vegetarian restaurant or catering environment is an advantage.
• Good understanding of personal hygiene and cleanliness practices.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, plates, utensils, and other dining equipment.
• Clean kitchen floors, surfaces, sinks, and other facilities; assist with cleaning after food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas and restaurant premises throughout operating hours.
• Follow hygiene and food safety procedures; use chemicals safely and store them properly.
• Collect and dispose of waste; assist in recycling where applicable.
• Inform supervisor when cleaning materials are running low; help store restaurant supplies.
• Assist kitchen and restaurant staff during busy periods and support takeaway/catering prep.
