Job summary

Japan Foods Holding Ltd in Singapore is seeking kitchen staff to support cleaning, dishwashing, and everyday kitchen operations. You will wash pots and pans, store clean dishes, maintain the dishwashing area, and take part in opening and closing duties.

You will assist in food preparation, ensure proper food storage, follow SOPs, wear safety equipment, and handle ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans and trays.
• Place clean dishes, utensil or cooking equipment in storage area.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, equipment and utensil.
• Throw rubbish at designated area.
• Clean trash bin.
• Perform opening and closing duties.
• Assist the cook in food preparation including frying, cooking soup, and cutting vegetables and meat according to SOP.
• Perform Deep frying task, prepare salad, peel egg shell, make gyoza etc.
• Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
• Prepare sauces, spices, seasonings and marinades based on standard.
• Follow company safety SOP and wear safety equipment while working in the kitchen.
• Handle any other duties assigned by Chef.
