Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific is seeking a Data Scientist to support Responsible AI (RAI) within the data and analytics division. The role combines evaluation of AI systems with governance processes, reviewing policy compliance and implementing safeguards for safe AI adoption.

Responsibilities include evaluating models, assessing risks, coordinating governance submissions, and developing evaluation tools in collaboration with DSAD and project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data science, machine learning or AI.
• Experience with end-to-end data science projects and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate models and methodology including reproducible tests for accuracy, reliability and fairness.
• Assess AI risks and safeguards including prompts and data privacy concerns.
• Review policy compliance and governance submissions; maintain case records and remediation actions.
• Translate IM8 and agency requirements into practical checklists and workflows.
• Develop evaluation and monitoring tools using Python scripts and reusable test sets.
• Provide monthly updates on cases, risks, actions and delivery progress.
