Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data science, CS, stats, ML, data analytics or related field.
• Proven experience in applied data science, statistical analysis and predictive modelling.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, manipulation and model development.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large operational datasets to identify patterns, anomalies and risk indicators.
• Develop ML techniques including anomaly detection, clustering, segmentation and risk scoring.
• Build and optimise supervised models using historical and labeled data.
• Preprocess, clean, transform and engineer features from structured and unstructured data.
• Design model evaluation frameworks with precision, recall and other metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Develop scalable data processing pipelines and feature workflows.
• Develop production-ready models and scoring pipelines, integrate with apps.
• Monitor model performance, data quality, and drift in production.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
• Apply LLMs and AI techniques alongside traditional ML where appropriate.
• Create reusable analytical frameworks and components for multiple projects.
