Job summary

KCL CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. invites applications for a Resident Engineer to supervise residential building projects in Singapore.

You will interpret project specs and drawings, ensure compliance with regulations, and monitor site activities to follow method statements and procedures. Qualifications

• Must have Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Resident Engineer Certificate (IES/ACES) is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Understand project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
• Monitor site works and ensure method Statements and work procedures are followed.
• Supervise structural works and identify non-conformities in contractor's work on site.
• Ensure builders execute work according to consultant instructions.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and propose solutions to prevent delays.
• Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials used on site.
• Maintain documentation of site inspections, safety records and as-built drawings.
• Update site records on progress, housekeeping, and report preparation.
• Verify contractors' progress payments and material deliveries on site.
• Witness inspections, testing and commissioning to ensure compliance with designs.
• Report to project QP/Consultants Team on quality and progress.
• Contract duration is 36 months; start from November/December 2026.
