Job summary

AARAV-G PTE. LTD. seeks a qualified RTO supervisor to oversee site works under BCA guidelines, ensuring quality and compliance with contract documents and plans.

The role involves supervising installation work, monitoring instrumentation data, and maintaining thorough site records. You will participate in progress and QAQC meetings and manage defect rectification with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Diploma in C&S discipline from a polytechnic or equivalent.
• Valid 2025/26 RTO Certification accredited by IES.
• 5 years of relevant RTO experience, with at least 3 years in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise timely execution of works and ensure quality against contract documents and approved drawings.
• Inspect installations and monitor instrumentation results; report findings.
• Prepare defect lists and track rectification progress.
• Ensure proper records of works and safety, environmental and health matters.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with SO reps, main/other contractors and consultants.
• Oversee handover and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Shift work, including night shifts.

Job Description & Requirements

• Perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors, resident technical officers under BCA
• Supervise timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructions, and statutory requirements and specifications
• Ensure that structural elements or critical works are being carried out in accordance with approved plans
• Supervise all necessary and relevant installations, including of instruments — then analyze & report on instrumentation results
• Prepare defect lists, monitor progress of rectification works and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectified
• Check on quality of works, materials and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report to OIC on any materials not conforming to specifications
• Provide all necessary and relevant endorsements
• Attend site, progress, variation, QAQC and coordination meetings and to keep proper minutes of these meetings
• Communicate & coordinate effectively and efficiently between multiple parties: SO representative(s), main contractor(s), other contractor(s), consultant(s) & relevant agencies
• Inspect and assist with handing/taking over of completed works by other contracts
• Ensure that proper and updated records of all works are kept
• Review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• Working with the safety team, ensure that safety on site maintains at a maximum level
• Any other adhoc duties

Criteria

• Diploma in C&S discipline from a Polytechnic or Equivalent
• Have a valid 2025/26 RTO Certification accredited by IES
• 5 years of relevant experience as RTO, of which at least 3 years shall be in supervision of:

1. Deep excavation, drainage, pipe jacking, ground improvement, supervising & installation of monitoring instruments and collating of monitoring dataand/or,
2. Viaduct, road/expressway works
3. Road & Pavement Experience

• Shift work, including night shift
