Job description
Responsibilities
Perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under BCA
Supervise timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructions
Check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with approved plans for discrepancies and report to OIC
Check on quality of works, materials and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify any non-conformance and report to OIC on any materials not conforming to specifications
Prepare defect lists, monitor progress of rectification works and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectified
Supervise works to comply with statutory requirements and specifications
Ensure that structural elements or critical works are being carried out in accordance with approved plans
Attend site, progress, variation, QAQC and coordination meetings and to keep proper minutes of these meetings
Help resolve main contractors' queries and coordinate the works with other contractors
Inspect and assist with handing/taking over of completed works by other contracts
Ensure that proper and updated records of all works are kept
Carry out coordination of all building and M&E Services
Working with the safety team, ensure that safety on site maintains at a maximum level
Any other adhoc duties
Qualifications
Diploma in M&E discipline from a Polytechnic or Equivalent.
Min 5 years of relevant experience as RTO, of which at least 2 years shall be in supervision of deep excavation, drainage, pipe jacking, ground improvement, supervising & installation of monitoring instruments and collating of monitoring data.
Shift work, including night shift.
Have a valid 2025 RTO Certification accredited by IES
