Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) seeks an experienced Site Supervisor / RTO to oversee construction activities on site, ensure compliance with contract drawings, and coordinate with main contractors, consultants and agencies. You will supervise deep excavation works, monitoring instrumentation, safety, QC, and maintain accurate records.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in C&S, valid 2026/27 RTO certification by IES, and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with 3 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma in C&S discipline from a polytechnic or equivalent.
• Valid 2026/27 RTO certification accredited by IES.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including supervision of large-scale works.
• Experience in deep excavation, drainage, viaducts, and monitoring instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform roles and responsibilities of site supervisor and RTO under BCA.
• Supervise timely execution, ensure quality, and comply with contract docs and regulations.
• Oversee installations and instrumentation, analyse results, and report findings.
• Prepare defect lists, monitor rectifications, and ensure issue closure.
• Attend progress, QA/QC, and coordination meetings; document minutes.
• Coordinate between SO representatives, main contractors, consultants, and agencies.
• Ensure proper records of works, safety, environmental and health matters.
• Support handover of completed works and ensure compliance with specs.

Job Description & Requirements

• Perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors, resident technical officers under BCA
• Supervise timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructions, and statutory requirements and specifications
• Ensure that structural elements or critical works are being carried out in accordance with approved plans
• Supervise all necessary and relevant installations, including of instruments - then analyse & report on instrumentation results
• Prepare defect lists, monitor progress of rectification works and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectified
• Check on quality of works, materials and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report to OIC on any materials not conforming to specifications
• Provide all necessary and relevant endorsements
• Attend site, progress, variation, QAQC and coordination meetings and keep proper minutes of these meetings
• Communicate & coordinate effectively and efficiently between multiple parties: SO representative(s), main contractor(s), other contractor(s), consultant(s) & relevant agencies
• Inspect and assist with handing/taking over of completed works by other contracts
• Ensure that proper and updated records of all works are kept
• Review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• Working with the safety team, ensure that safety on site maintains at a maximum level
• Any other adhoc duties

Criteria

• Diploma in C&S discipline from a Polytechnic or Equivalent
• Have a valid 2026/27 RTO Certification accredited by IES
• 5 years of relevant experience as RTO, of which at least 3 years shall be in supervision of:
  • Deep excavation, drainage, pipe jacking, ground improvement, supervising & installation of monitoring instruments and collating of monitoring data
  • Viaduct, road/expressway works
  • Road & Pavement Experience
• Shift work, including night shift
