Job summary

Pillarstone is seeking personnel for location-based BTO projects to conduct inspections on soil investigation and instrumentation works. The role includes on-site supervision and coordination to meet project schedules, with duties spanning ERSS, D-wall, stabilisation works, and ground investigations.

You will maintain daily site records, assess risks to dam safety, coordinate with authorities, and work shifts including day and night.

Qualifications

• Experience in soil investigation and instrumentation works.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection on Soil investigation and instrumentation works
• Carry- out supervision and coordination on-site to meet the project schedule
• Conduct inspection in Installation of ERSS works, D-wall, Site Investigation, Shotcrete, Rockbolt, controlled blasting , Soil Instrumentation works.
• Carry out full-time standing supervision of Ground Investigation Works
• Maintain appropriate documentation of site work progress, instrumentation readings, and fieldwork records/logs on a daily basis
• Constantly assess the impact of the ground investigation works on site and liaise with the Contractor to mitigate any risks to dam safety when deemed necessary
• Coordinate with local authorities as and when necessary
