Job summary

IDEALS RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD.

seeks a Resident Technical Officer to support LTA projects on-site, report to RE and SRE, monitor all site activities and incidents, and raise non-conformances when required. You will assist supervision of civil works including replacement and extension, bridge works, and reconfiguration, prepare daily site reports, ensure compliance with drawings, risk assessments and schedules, and maintain project records.

Qualifications

• On-site supervision experience on civil/structural works desirable.
• Ability to prepare clear site reports and daily records.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site activities and incidents; report to RE and SRE.
• Supervise civil works including replacement, extension, bridges and reconfiguration.

Job Description & Requirements

• Work as Resident Technical Officer to our LTA projects, to assist and report to RE and SRE to monitor all site activities, and any incident, including near-misses. Report any non-complianceto RE and Qualified Person Supervision (QPS).
• Assist Engineer in carrying out supervision for related works include but not limited to replacement and extension, construction and reconfiguration of viaduct/ bridge works, and associated civil works, proposed new flexible pavement and infrastructure, re-alightment of roadways, fencing and construction.
• Prepare daily reports at regular basic and as required by clients.
• Supervise all construction activities and ensure compliance to all plans/drawings, risk assessment and specifications.
• Willing to work on rotation shifts .
• Ensure compliance to all health and safety policies.
• Ensure that contractor and their subcontractor comply with client's safety requirement, and safety checklists are follow.
• Reject poor quality of works at site and inform RE to raise non-conformance notice.
• Assist RE to manage and maintain records and documentation on field or site changes and to monitor adherence to construction schedule.
