Job summary

SWIFT ENGINEERS PTE. LTD. is hiring for on-site supervision of soil investigation and instrumentation works across multiple sites in Singapore.

The role entails coordinating ERSS installations, D-wall, shotcrete, rockbolt, and related ground works while maintaining accurate logs and readings. The candidate should oversee day-to-day supervision, liaise with contractors to meet schedules, and coordinate with authorities to ensure dam safety.

Qualifications

• Must have on-site civil/geotechnical supervision experience.
• Experience with soil investigation and instrumentation.
• Ability to read site logs and instrumentation readings.
• Proven ability to coordinate with contractors and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct soil investigation inspections.
• Supervise on-site works to meet project schedule.
• Inspect ERSS, D-wall, shotcrete, rockbolt works.
• Oversee full-time supervision of Ground Investigation works.
• Maintain daily site progress records, readings and logs.
• Assess impact of works on site and liaise with Contractor to mitigate risks to dam safety.
• Coordinate with local authorities as required.
• Work shifts include day and night at various sites.

Job description

• Conduct inspection on Soil investigation and instrumentation works
• Carry- out supervision and coordination on-site to meet the project schedule
• Conduct inspection in Installation of ERSS works, D-wall, Site Investigation, Shotcrete, Rockbolt, controlled blasting , Soil Instrumentation works.
• Carry out full-time standing supervision of Ground Investigation Works
• Maintain appropriate documentation of site work progress, instrumentation readings, and fieldwork records/logs on a daily basis
• Constantly assess the impact of the ground investigation works on site and liaise with the Contractor to mitigate any risks to dam safety when deemed necessary
• Coordinate with local authorities as and when necessary
• Shift work - Day and/or Night
• Location - Various jobsites
