Job summary

XIN CHENG SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee soil investigation and instrumentation works across multiple sites in Singapore.

You will conduct inspections, supervise on-site activities day and night, maintain daily logs, and coordinate with contractors and authorities to ensure dam safety and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Inspect soil investigation and instrumentation works.
• Supervise and coordinate on-site activities to meet project schedule.
• Inspect installation of ERSS works, D-wall, Site Investigation, Shotcrete, Rockbolt, controlled blasting, Soil Instrumentation works.
• Oversee full-time standing supervision of Ground Investigation Works.
• Maintain daily site work progress records, instrumentation readings, and field logs.
• Assess impact of ground investigation works on site and liaise with contractor to mitigate risks to dam safety.
• Coordinate with local authorities as needed.
• Work shifts may be day and/or night.
• Locations vary across jobsites.

• Carry- out supervision and coordination on-site to meet the project schedule
• Conduct inspection in Installation of ERSS works, D-wall, Site Investigation, Shotcrete, Rockbolt, controlled blasting , Soil Instrumentation works.
• Carry out full-time standing supervision of Ground Investigation Works
• Maintain appropriate documentation of site work progress, instrumentation readings, and fieldwork records/logs on a daily basis
• Constantly assess the impact of the ground investigation works on site and liaise with the Contractor to mitigate any risks to dam safety when deemed necessary
• Coordinate with local authorities as and when necessary
• Shift work - Day and/or Night
• Location - Various jobsites
