Job summary

Outsource Projects in Singapore is seeking a Civil/Structural Supervisor with tunnelling experience to review drawings, supervise works, and ensure permits are in place.

You will coordinate with contractors, assess monitoring instruments, and supervise safety, environmental, and health matters on site. Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering is required, along with a valid RTO certificate by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling or supervision of installation of monitoring instruments, data collection and analysis.
• Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering.
• Valid RTO certificate by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings.
• Provide endorsements required by authorities.
• Supervise civil, structural and geotechnical works (permanent and temporary).
• Ensure contractor has obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure corrective actions and timely preventive measures.

RESPONSIBILITIES& DUTIES:

• To reviewall Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• Toprovide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Superviseall civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent andtemporary
• To ensurethat contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• Toconduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement correctiveactions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surroundingstructures
• Tocoordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), relevant agencies, including interfacingcontractors and consultants etc for the works
• Toreview, evaluate and assess all formwork structure, formwork support systemsetc
• To reviewand supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• Tosupervise the installation of instrumentation
• Tosupervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• Toreview, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation andinterpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
• To reviewContractor's design and supervise all works

QUALIFICATIONS& REQUIREMENTS:

• Min. 3years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling or supervision ofinstallation of monitoring instruments, collation of monitoring data and use ofsoftware for presentation of monitoring data for analysis and interpretation.
