Job summary

CUTECH QUALITY SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Civil & Structural engineer to lead site staff in monitoring, supervising, and inspecting works as directed by CAG, QP(S), QP(Geo)/consultants and FUI owners.

You will ensure quality, safety, and progress reporting while coordinating with stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership and ability to work shifts. Experience in major construction projects, including structural steelworks and drainage, and accreditation with IES/ACES are

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' civil & structural engineering experience.
• At least 5 years in supervision of works on major construction projects (structural steelworks and drainage).
• C&S engineering degree recognised by PEB Singapore.
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES & ACES.
• For T5A roof supervision, experience with long-span steel roofs (>40mspan) is preferred.
• Conversant with statutory codes/requirements for site supervision, quality control, safety & health, construction administration and progress reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead C&S site staff to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by CAG, QP(S), QP(Geo)/consultants and FUI owners.
• C&S QSS will be required to visit fabrication yards with QPs for inspection/audit checks.
• Strong supervision & leadership to resolve site issues with good team spirit.

Education

C&S engineering degree recognised by PEB Singapore

Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES & ACES

• Possess good leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years' relevant civil & structural engineering experience, of which at least 5 years in supervision of works of similar size/complexity (major construction works, structural steelworks and drainage).


• C&S engineering degree recognised by PEB Singapore.


• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES & ACES.


• For T5A roof supervision, experience with long-span steel roofs (>40mspan) is preferred.


• Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry (WSHMCI) and other trainings per Cl. 4.2.


• Conversant with statutory codes/requirements for site supervision, quality control, safety & health, construction administration and progress reporting.


• Strong supervision & leadership skills, proactive in resolving site issues with good team spirit.


• Relevant experience in the Aviation/Aerodrome sector preferred.


• Able to perform shift work.


• C&S QSS will be required to visit fabrication yards with QPs for inspection/audit checks.
